Carla Hindman

Carla Hindman is the Director of Financial Education for Visa Canada, and is responsible for fostering Visa's financial literacy initiatives in Canada, including Practical Money Skills Canada and the Choices and Decisions program. Ms. Hindman has been working with Visa's financial literacy program in different capacities since 2008, and was instrumental in the launch of the rebranded Practical Money Skills program in Canada.

Prior to joining Visa in 2008, Ms. Hindman served as Account Director at a public relations agency where she developed and executed communications programs for a portfolio of clients. Her responsibilities included external and internal communications initiatives, government relations, stakeholder engagement and event management.

Ms. Hindman's career also included time at a major consulting firm as a Communications Manager, with a specific focus on driving awareness of the firm's consulting practice through targeted thought leadership programs.

Ms. Hindman holds an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in business communications from Brock University, and a post-graduate degree specializing in public relations from Humber College.
